Delete your account
The short version
In the app, open Settings, scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account. Your profile, recordings and comments disappear at once. Thirty days later the account and every stored audio file are erased for good. This cannot be undone.
01 From the app
- Open iFart Arena and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings.
- Under Danger Zone, tap Delete Account and confirm.
Playing as a guest? Delete the account this way before you sign out. A guest account has no credential to sign back in with, so once you have signed out you can only ask us by email.
02 Without the app
Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account" and your username. Send it from the email address of the Apple or Google account you signed in with, so we can confirm the account is yours. We delete it the same way the app does and reply when it is done.
03 What happens to your data
- Immediately: your profile, recordings and comments leave the app for everyone, every signed-in session ends, and your Apple or Google sign-in is released. Signing in again starts a new, empty account.
- After thirty days: the account and everything attached to it are permanently erased, including the stored audio files.
- Kept longer: moderation and safety records, where we need them to stop someone returning after a ban or to answer a legal request. Records of in-app purchases are also kept by Apple, Google and our payments provider under their own policies.
Recordings are public while they are posted, so we cannot recall a copy that somebody already downloaded. The privacy policy has the full detail.
